Malelane Animal Clinic

Situated in the beautiful Nkomazi district of Mpumalanga, we are passionate about the health of animals in the area. Malelane Animal Clinic is a small, personal practice consisting of two full time veterinarians (Drs Brand van Sittert and Tessa Drew), a part time veterinarian (Dr. Kristie Thompson), a receptionist (Ms Thobile Nkosi) and an animal handler (Ms Deli Makamu). We also cater for the needs of Komatipoort through our vetshop there, where Ms Vicky Naude is available to assist you with any pet food queries or over-the-counter animal remedies.

Our practice is equipped with, amongst others, a consultation room, a theatre and x-ray facilities. We are also able to assist with chemical immobilisation of wild animals, remote drug delivery and post mortems.

We offer a wide variety of over-the-counter medicines (for many species), pet feeds and pet equipment. In addition, all our products will come with advice on how to use them: We are proud to say that both our Malelane and Komatipoort receptionists are Level 1 Hills Veterinary Nutritional Advisors.

About our Vet Shop at Malelane Animal Clinic
Through Komati Veterinary Shop we strive to serve some of the needs of our Komatipoort customers. Being at the edge of South Africa, we also provide a convenient last stop for animal owners heading back to Mozambique.

Come and browse through our extensive range of premium pet foods –  Hills, Eukanuba, Royal Canin, Scientific Veterinary Diets (Ultradog), Vets Choice and also Acana (and Orijen on request). In addition, we also stock tick and flea remedies (incl. Bravecto), dewormers and other over-the-counter animal remedies.
