EduPet Veterinary Consulting Room offers assistance with behaviour and training problems with dogs and cats. We offer behaviour consultations, puppy classes, clicker training courses, pet bereavement consultations and seminars and workshops. All our work is based on positive reinforcement training methods, no punishment or force, and scientifically sound approaches. Dr Quixi is a veterinarian with a particular interest in behavioural medicine. At EduPet we celebrate the human-animal bond and serve our animal and human clients with compassion.
A veterinary behaviour practitioner deals with a variety of disorders.
In dogs, the most common disorders include

aggression between dogs
aggression towards humans
destructiveness
training disorders
fearful behaviour (strangers, loud noises)

Other disorders include

hyperactivity
compulsive behaviour
excessive barking
house-soiling

In cats, the most common disorders are

house-soiling and/or spraying
aggression between cats
furniture scratching

Very often, advice is required about introducing new pets to each other.

Puppy classes offered by Edupet Veterinary Consuting Room
Learn all you need to know about bringing up a puppy in a positive way. Theory and practical are combined to ensure that you have all it takes to turn that puppy into a great adult dog.
Puppy classes cater for puppies up to 4 months old (maximum 16 weeks at start of course). The course consists of 5 classes (offered on Saturday afternoons) of which the first class is for the human companions only. The course includes puppy management (house training, appropriate toys and games, social needs, dealing with jumping, digging, destructive behaviour etc), socialisation and teaching good manners.
