Since opening our doors in 2009, CapeCross Jeffreys Bay has grown into a busy hospital providing excellent care for the animals of Jeffreys Bay. Our friendly team is ready to help with any animal-related needs you might have.

Companion Animals:

General consultation for companion animals, production animals, exotic animals and horses
Home visits
Emergency services and hospitalisation
Dental procedures including extractions, descaling and polishing of teeth
Reproductive services such as semen collection, artificial insemination, pregnancy scans - either with ultrasound or radiographs
Diagnostic imaging: Radiography - digital x-ray and ultrasonography - this includes hip- and elbow scoring
Surgery: Soft tissue- and orthopaedic surgery, including plating
Avian wing, beak and claw trimming
In-house blood tests, urinalysis, and faecal analysis

Production Animals:

General consultation and emergency call-outs
On-farm visits include pregnancy diagnosis (ultrasound), post-calving examinations, postmortems, udderhealth monitoring, surgery
We create individualised vaccination programmes for all farms
Blood- and liver mineral level monitoring.
