Dr Peet Venter, veterinary at the Evander Dierekliniek, said there are rumours that this clinic has closed down.
Some people said they were under the impression that it will be closed soon.
Dr Venter said he also received several phone calls from clients asking him whether the clinic is closed.
“I went shopping one day and one of my clients approached me and said he heard that the clinic is closed.
“I do not know where the rumours emanate from,” said Dr Venter.
“I want to assure the public that the Evander Animal Clinic, which has been operating for 33 years, is still open and that nothing has changed.”
Evander Dierekliniek offers a range of veterinary services for small and companion animals. They als stock a wide variety of pet supplies and food.
