Lynburn Animal Clinic is a companion animal practice treating mainly dogs and cats, located in Lynnwood, Gauteng.

Working together towards the common goal of delivering the highest possible standard of compassionate veterinary care to ill or injured animals and basic health care.

Dr Chris Jansen Van Vuuren: Dr Chris, owner of Lynburn Animal Clinic, has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1974. He furthered his studies obtaining his honors degree in 1989 as well as a masters degree in virology in 1992. Dr Chris is a dedicated veterinarian who will always walk the extra mile for his patients. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. In his time off Dr Chris enjoys reading, doing research and taking his 3 busy Jack Russel Terriers for walks.

Dr Liani Luyt: Dr Liani joined our clinic in 2013 after working in Port Elizabeth for 2 years. She enjoys all the challenges of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in small animal surgery. In her time off Dr Liani enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, a busy toddler girl and two 4-legged furry children. She also enjoys running and cycling.

Kayleigh and Maryna are our dedicated front staff. Always working with a smile to keep our clients ( and our Doctors! ) happy.

Sam has been part of our support staff for over 12 years. He ensures that our hospital stays clean and that your pet always has a warm blanket in his/her kennel. Sam will also assist in carrying your food purchases to the car or wherever help is needed.
