Facilities at Village Veterinary Clinic Kloof
CONSULTING ROOMS
We have 3 air-conditioned consulting rooms for outpatient visits. These lead off our reception area that has been designed to have separate waiting areas so that patients are not stressed before their visit
VISITING ROOMS
We have a visiting room off our consulting rooms. We use this to spend time discussing our findings and treatment plans with clients. We also use this space for our clients to visit with their pets that are here for longer-term stays. It has seating and art on the walls that children enjoy when they come to visit their pet.
ANIMAL WARDS
We have four wards in our hospital. We have a dog ward, a cat ward and an exotics ward. We have a small high care/ isolation ward for those patients that require intensive care or that cannot be in a shared ward.
Why choose us?
At Village, we are passionate about what we do, and how we do it.
We will work with you to increase your pet’s quality of life and longevity.
We believe in preventative care. This helps lower health care costs by preventing diseases before they require emergency treatment.
In other words proactively managing their care to safeguard their health.
It’s a combination of home care by you and veterinary care by us.
By keeping your pet on a healthy diet, appropriate for their age, you can increase their lifespan dramatically. We can advise you on the best diet for them.
You can keep them free from parasites, that’s ticks, fleas, worms and mites. Ask us for the best options for them.
Annual vaccinations are critical. This is a time for vaccinations and a health check. A skilled examination of your pet at this time can often result in early detection of serious issues, particularly in our senior patients.
Dental disease is a silent killer. It can affect the heart and kidneys putting strain on vital organs. Check their teeth regularly front to back, and if you notice a build up of plaque or tartar, they need to come in for a scale and polish. If you are not sure, book a dental assessment.
We encourage our clients to have medical insurance for their pets to give them peace of mind that should there be an accident or illness, treatment can be sought without financial worry. Please see MEDICAL INSURANCE for more information.
We invest in our staff and our practice, so that we can have a positive impact on the lives that we touch every day. We believe that the human animal bond is important. Not only for pets, but for humans too, and we want to work with you to make the time you have together as happy, healthy and long as possible!
