We’re a group of dedicated professionals devoted to the health and wellbeing of the pets in our community.

Our two animal hospitals are known for their outstanding veterinary care, diagnostics, medicine and surgery, as well as expert emergency care.

Our shop, The Corner Vetshop, offers a wide range of premium food, accessories and healthcare products to keep your furry friends happy and healthy.
About Goedemoed Animal Hospital
The Goedemoed Animal Hospital was opened in 1998 by Dr Garth Mills in a converted garage before erecting a purpose built facility 30m up the road. In 2003 Dr Stephen Maberly joined the practice adding his expertise to the team. What started as a small one man practice has grown into a busy, fully equipped hospital with 3 veterinarians, 1 nurse, a practice manager, 2 receptionists and a kennel assistant. We strive to offer a high level of diagnostic, medical and surgical care in a compassionate, happy and caring environment.

Dr. Garth Mills – Veterinarian
Coming from an Irish veterinary family and having worked in both hemispheres on varied species, I have settled in Cape Town with Sue, Nick and pets. This enables a balance of work, family, leisure and golf all washed down with the finest of the Cape’s real wines.

Dr. Stephen Maberly – Veterinarian
22 years after qualifying, I am challenged daily to be better and learn more. I have been privileged to practice, laugh and cry with great colleagues. Our family continues to grow; 4 cats rule the house, 2 teenagers and my wife and God that supports me through it all.

Dr. Dani Müller-Deibicht – Veterinarian
I'm an enthusiastic veterinarian, who loves animals of all shapes and sizes. In 2008 I graduated from the University of Pretoria with a BSc Animal Science and in 2013 with a BVSc from Onderstepoort. I enjoy the variety of experience found in general practice, particularly in the area of behaviour, internal medicine, pain management and surgery.
