Since 1975, Craighall Veterinary Hospital has serviced the suburbs of Craighall, Parkhurst, Hyde Park and surrounds, becoming a trusted and well-established part of the community.
Craighall Veterinary Hospital has a dedicated team of seven veterinarians and three veterinary nurses that work to a high medical standard, taking pride in providing compassionate and professional care to your furry, scaled or feathered family members.
Our state-of-the-art hospital has been specifically designed to create a low stress, comfortable stay for your pet, as well as boasting modern diagnostic equipment and a well-equipped operating theatre.

Vaccinations and Preventative Care
Vaccinations available and a wide range of tick, flea and de-worming products
Surgery
Excellent surgical facilities and expertise in a wide range of surgical procedures on cats, dogs and exotic animals
Routine Consultations
Routine consultations on cats and dogs, we employ seven experienced and dedicated veterinarians, so a second opinion is always part of the package
Dental Care
Full equipped with top of the range dental equipment and dental radiology for use in dogs, cats and also rabbits
Rabbit and Exotic Animal Consultations
We have three vets with special interests in treating rabbits, small furries, reptiles and birds
Hospitalisation and Medical Care
We have a modern and well-equipped hospital with seperate cat, dog and exotics wards, drip pumps and full day nursing care to ensure a comfortable, calm and 'best care' stay for your special pet
Diagnostics Imaging
We offer our clients excellent diagnostic imaging services in order to come to an accurate diagnosis on your pet - Radiology, Ultrasound and Endoscopy
Microchipping
This is a permanent method of electronic identification. Lost pets are more likely to be reunited with their owners if they have been microchipped and registered on a database
In House Laboratory
To obtain efficient diagnostics and for your convenience, we run a full biochemistry and haematology panel in-house, along with more routine microscopy, faecal and urine analysis
Anaesthesia
We utilise the safest anaesthetics, and have four gas anesthetic machines in our practice as well as three trained nurses to monitor every minute of your pet's general anesthetic
Nursing Care
We employ three full-time nurses to ensure that your pets have constant and reliable care - in hospital and on every anesthetic procedure
Full Range of Veterinary Diets
We stock a full range of prescription foods, and our shop; Planet Pets offers a variety of approved diets for dogs, cats, small furries and birds
House Calls
We do offer house visits under special circumstances for existing clients. Please arrange in advance
Specialist Referral
We have an excellent relationship with referral practices and will timeously advise referral if your pet's condition is outside of our scope of abilities
